Keith and Catie were such an amazing couple to work with. Their laid-back personalities and trust in us to do our ‘thing’ made our jobs not only enjoyable but creative as well. Catie mentioned to me during our final consultation prior to their wedding day that the art work in the Bakersfield Art Museum was very important to them, so we hatched a plan to incorporate as much artwork as possible in their wedding photos. When Matt and I arrived at the facility we were beyond stoked to be told that we could photograph inside the art gallery (with the exception of no flash) YIPEE! We had a blast utilizing all of the unique artwork surrounding us. My personal favorite was the gallery of phone books. Artists created everything from a shushi piece to someones facial expression out of phone-books, it was beautiful! Their wedding day was lovely, and we very much enjoyed capturing their big day. C&K we know your love for each other is strong, we wish you a lifetime of happiness and love! God Bless your new lives together as a family. I felt so honored when asked to be their wedding photographer being that I have known Kami and the Jackson family for many years, it was truly a blast to be apart of . Their ceremony overlooked the harbor and the weather was perfect. We wrapped photos up at  the beach for some fun bridal and wedding shots! Justin and Kami danced their night away enjoying their new marriage and celebrating with their guests.

 

I wish you guys all the happiness and love a marriage can offer and I know you guys will have some buff and beautiful babies some day! below are some images from their wedding, a special thanks to Megan McAlister for assisting and second shooting.

I felt beyond honored when she asked if I would capture her big day…Ashley wore a detailed mermaid gown that looked stunning,her blond hair was curled perfectly, and accented with splashes of hot pink (loved her shoes!) She looked like a living Barbie on her wedding day : Derek and Ashley met in High School and married this past June at River lakes Church in Bakersfield, Ca. They both serve the Lord and plan to raise their family here in Bakersfield alongside many loving family members and friends. They had their classy and chic reception at the Basque Club and danced the night away with several family and friends celebrating alongside. Ashley and Derek thank you so much for having us apart of your amazing and special wedding day, we wish you a lifetime of blessings and many babies! You two are such a gorgeous couple! :) here are some photos from their wedding…

Shane and Chelsea said I do at Shane’s parents home in Pismo, Ca back in June of this year. The location of the wedding was beautiful from the gorgeous details, flower (House of Flowers), decor, and bridal attire. Matt and I felt very privileged to be apart of Shane and Chelsea’s big day. They have a strong love for the Lord and we know their marriage is blessed because when you put God first, everything falls into place. 2. At the bottom of your image there is a number, (example 34) whichever pose you choose will be based off the number located directly on the bottom.

3. Images will be on the proofing page for five days (the proofs expire Tuesday August 7th, 2012)

Halie made a beautiful bride and choose red, black polka-dot and feather accents for her wedding details (the details were so unique) They followed with a reception at The Metro Gallery located in Downtown, Bakersfield and danced the evening away with friends and family.  Matt second shot for me and the weather was truly wonderful that day! we wanted to share a few images from their big day, congratulations to The Claunch Family! Rachel wore a long-beaded classic gown and reminded me of a vintage beauty! She choose navy blue and orange as her accenting colors and tied in her Danish heritage roots with windmill center-pieces. The guy’s and gal’s had paper made flowers and wind-mill boutonnieres, they were so fun to photograph… We met Rachel and John at the Ultimate Bridal Event last year and they have been a dream to work with. Not only are they beyond kind and sweet, they are such a great couple, and we truly loved kicking off wedding season with their lovely wedding we wish them a lifetime of happiness! enjoy a few of their wedding images!

Sarah is due within the next few weeks and I cannot wait to see what baby Boston looks like, congrats Sarah and Tony you guy’s will make an amazing pair of parents to this lucky little man!

We are proposing a May photo challenge this month for you in hopes of seeing some interesting and creative images created by our fans! I know when Instagram announced they were creating an app. for the Android I was super stoked! I don’t always have the chance to take photos of my kids with my Canon so the one thing I always have in my pocket on nearby is my phone! I am new myself to instragram but absolutely love it! I have so many pictures stored that I am creating an album this month. We challenge you to please take a photo daily with this ‘May Photo-challenge’ (attached below) and share a few with us at the end of this month. Snapping a few photos a day is super easy, rather it’s of your kids, food, a fun family trip, literally  WHATEVER you want please feel free to share! and if we have more than one person share their photos with us we will be giving away a  25$ Starbucks card to a lucky winner for taking the time to give us a glimpse into your life!
